Patron of the Akki
Betrayers of Kamigawa rare. Although it’s technically worshipped by the Akki, the Patron cares almost nothing for them, demanding great sacrifices before it indulges their requests.

悪忌達が崇めている《悪忌の守護神/Patron of the Akki》ですが、悪忌達に対する特別扱いというのは殆ど無く、その要求に応える前に多大な生け贄を要求する、とのことです。
「守護神」という割には、という印象がありますが、神が生贄を要求するというのは物語の定型です。
メカニズム上も守護対象であるはずのゴブリンを生け贄に捧げる「献身」ですし、アートでも右側に神への供物と思しきゴブリンがいます。
また、ストーリー記事（※１）では、願い事をした悪忌を丸呑みしてしまいました（※２）。
そう考えると、よくできたデザインとも言えるのでしょう。

「一年と一日の間、自分を守る」ことの対価というか、「一年と一日かけて消化する」というのが正確かもしれませんが。
