Jake Zahn found a nifty use for Swirl the Mists: Combine it with the Apocalypse Sanctuaries. Ceta Sanctuary becomes “At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a blue or blue permanent, draw a card, then discard a card. If you control a blue permanent and a blue permanent, instead draw two cards, then discard a card.” If you’ve got both Swirl the Mists and Ceta Sanctuary out, what are the odds you control a blue permanent and a blue permanent?TILT-A-SWIRL

《渦巻く霧/Swirl the Mists》は、「色を指定する言葉」「すべて」を書き換えることを活かし、２色を参照する『アポカリプス』の聖域サイクルを、たった１色でどの聖域でもフルに条件を満たすコンボです。後のカードになりますが、同様に２色を参照する『イーブンタイド』『シャドウムーア』のカードも相性がいいでしょう。
《絵描きの召使い/Painter’s Servant》のように、すべてを単一の色に塗り替えるものだと、こうはいきません。一方で、《魂の消耗/Consume Spirit》のようなカードは、支払うマナに黒を要求する一方で、Xには青しか使えなくなる、といった事態になるので相性は悪いです。
今後登場するカードと、有力なコンボが生まれる可能性を感じさせます。
